A word from our pastor:

Hello!  My name is James Ng.  Yes, it is a different last name.  I am half Chinese and Half Caucasian.  And I have been the Pastor at Living Water since 2015.  I attended Liberty University, and Liberty Theological Seminary and have been in church work my whole life.

I accepted Christ at my home church in Westerville Ohio when I was 11 and accepted my call to full time ministry in High school.

I married my wife, Sonya, in 2010 and we have been blessed with two beautiful girls!

As a pastor, my job is equip the saints of God for the work of ministry!  I want people to know Christ and grow closer to Him!

And I love my church!  If you are not with us on Sundays, we would love to meet you!

God bless you and God bless America!

Our Story

Our Church began when two families saw that the Ohio side of the river needed a faithful Baptist Church.  And what is best when you see a need?  You fill it!

Our church began services on Easter 2000 in the old school on Mound Street.  Before too long, they had bought a home in town and converted that to the church.  And in 2013, we broke ground for our new church on Fifth Avenue, where out church is now!  Under the direct leadership of Pastor Jim Green.

In 2015, the church called its current minister, Pastor James Ng, and his family has served the church faithfully for more than 9 years.

In 2023, we opened our newest addition, the family center.  It holds our children's ministry and Youth room.

A greater purpose:

We serve Jesus!

We believe He is the hope of the world and

He died for all of us!

Our Purpose Statement

Because we love God and our neighbors we seek to introduce people to Jesus and to bring them into membership, helping them achieve Christ-like maturity for their God-called ministry so their lives will magnify God’s name.

Our purpose is:

  • To be a worshipping fellowship, experiencing an awareness of God, recognizing His person, and responding in obedience to His leadership.

  • To experience an increasingly meaningful fellowship with God and fellow believers.

  • To help people experience a growing knowledge of God and man.

  • To be a church that ministers unselfishly to people in the community and the world in Jesus’ name.

  • To be a church with the purpose of being Christ-like in our daily living by emphasizing total commitment of life, personality, and possessions to the lordship of Christ.
